R.M.S. Olympic - The Evening Chronicle, Monday, 16 December 1991
| Ornate fixtures and fittings from the Titanic’s sister ship fetched over £30,000 at an auction in Newcastle. The collection was discovered in a Northumberland barn more than 40 years after the ship was stripped at Jarrow. Most of it was bought by American Ken Marschall for the Massachusetts Titanic Historical Society. |
