R.M.S. Olympic - 1991 Auction
The following lots were part of the fittings on the S/S Olympic (Sister Ship of the S/S Titanic), built by Harland and Wolff, Belfast, for the White Star Line’s transatlantic passenger trade. Launched 20th October, 1910; sent to Jarrow-on-Tyne in October 1935 for stripping, prior to breaking at Inverkeith, Scotland, 1937. These items were purchased by the Vendor’s father at the Dispersal Sale and have been in store ever since.
