1442  A green painted and carved oak doorway from the 1st Class entrance promenade deck surmounted by a gilt pear-shaped cartouche and fruiting swags, acanthus leaf and ball moulding to the borders, 44 in. x 97 in. high, inscribed in pencil on the reverse, “1st Entrance Prom Dk, Port side Aft End and Aft end Door Port”.

1443  An ornate section of green painted and gilt oak panel richly carved with swags of fruit, wheatears, vegetables, embellished with acanthus leaves and paterae, centred by a circular aperture, the panel below with “A DECK” outlined where brass letters have been 55½ in. x 88 in. high, together with two other fragments of border panelling.

1444  An ornate green painted and gilt oak panel surmounted by a scallop shell motif, acanthus leaves, paterae, swags of fruit, wheat ears, and vegetables, the panel below with “PROM DECK” outlined where brass letters have been 54 in. x 97 in. high, inscribed in chalk on the reverse, “Entrance Panels, Promenade Aft, S.S. 400” and in pencil “Aft End No 16”.  See illustration.
